Physiotherapy

Musculoskeletal

Musculoskeletal therapy is most suitable for people who have experienced injury or overuse injury. This could be work related or caused by a hobby or pastime. An initial assessment is performed to ascertain the cause and affect of the problem. Following this, a comprehensive treatment plan is put in place and a full explanation of the injury is provided. A personalized home exercise programme is then taught to the client, allowing them to participate in their own rehabilitation.

Common types of injury:

  • Low back pain

  • Shoulder pain

  • Chronic pain

  • Work related injuries

  • Headaches

  • Stress

  • Knee pain

  • Neck pain

Initial Assessment: £55
Follow-up Treatment: £50

Sports Injuries

Sporting injury is a very common issue. This may happen to a high-level athlete or to a hobbyist. Laura is experienced in treating all levels of sporting ability and has an in-depth knowledge of many sports and the injuries commonly associated with them. An initial assessment will examine the client’s sports history and the cause of the injury. It will then examine the client’s sport technique. A personalised treatment plan will be implemented and a home exercise programme will aim to quickly and effectively return the client to their full previous function.

Initial Assessment: £55
Follow-up Treatment: £50

Rehabilitation

You may have a long-term medical condition or have experienced a chronic injury. Rehabilitation aims to improve your symptoms and maintain as high a level of function as possible.
